Pressure boosters

Main features and certifications Series of pressure boosters available in three sizes (1/4", 3/8" and 1/2") with manual adjustment or remote pneumatic regulation.

Pressure boosters are devices that compress air in a pneumatic system, providing an outlet flow with a higher pressure (double or quadruple, depending on the type) than the inlet pressure. These components are normally used where it is necessary to locally intensify the supply pressure on one or more applications. As they are entirely pneumatic components, they can also be used in environments where electrical devices are not recommended. They are equipped with non-return valves that allow the output pressure to be maintained even when the input pressure is removed. Thus require the disconnection of the air supply and drain the circuit before any operation on the device. To avoid fluctuations in the outlet pressure, is recommended to install an air-reservoir downstream from the pressure booster. Supplied as standard in compliance to Reach and RoHS directives.
