Installation of ASV type magnetic reed switches in grooves or brackets

1 - CYLINDERS

To install ASV type magnetic reed swtches in their grooves or brackets, position the sensor perpendicularly to the housing, as shown in fig.1, and insert it into the housing with a light pressure. Then, rotate the switch 90° counterclockwise to position it inside the housing, as shown in fig.2 . Now slide the magnetic switch up to the desired position ( fig.3 ). To identify the correct position, keep in mind that the sensig point may change according with the model; therefore, refer to the single product datasheets on the following pages. Once the switch is placed in the desired position, secure it by tightening (max torque 0,2 Nm) the mounting screw clockwise with a screwdriver ( fig.4 ). To replace or remove the magnetic swtich, follow the steps shown above in the reverse order (from fig.4 to fig.1 ): using a screwdriver loosen the mounting screw (turning counterclockwise), then rotate the switch 90° clockwise in the housing, and remove it from the groove or bracket.

To install the ASC type magnetic reed switches in their grooves, position the switch horizontally to the housing, as shown in fig.1 , then insert it into the housing with a light pressure. Now slide the magnetic switch up to the desired position ( fig.2 ). To identify the correct position, keep in mind that the sensig point may change according with the model; therefore, refer to the single product datasheets on the following pages.
