Modular units B series

Single components and complete assembly

B series components are available as single modular elements and assembled groups. For single modular elements code key, please refer to the single components data sheets. Assembling modular components require "T" type bracket type B..Z105, to be ordered separately, see page 3.4.303

For complete assembly code key, please see from page 3.4.500 For accessories, to be ordered separately, see from page 3.4.300 For spare parts, see from page 3.4.400

Features, dimensions and materials

The new B Series is designed to improve performances, functionality, efficiency, and to reduce both overall dimensiosn and weight. Every single detail responds to these needs. For standard materials, please refer to the single components data sheets.

Double layer cups (only for 3/8" and 1/2" size) Filters, filter-regulators, oil mist separators, active carbon filters and lubricators are equipped with new-generation cups, fully made of polycarbonate and with a polycarbonate protection totally transparent which allow a 360° view, so you can check any time the condense or lubricant level from any direction. Anyway, the metal cup option is available. Mounting and demounting cups for maintenance is particularly easy thanks to the practical release button (3/8" and 1/2" size), as better explained in the "filter elements" table below).

Filtering elements Filters and filter-regulators are equpped with filtering elements with 5 μm filtration grade, active carbon filters are equpped with filtering elements with 0,003 μm filtration grade, while on oil mist separators is possible to choose between 0,3 μm and 0,01 μm filtration grade. NOTE: If installation of filter units in series is needed, they should be mounted in a cascading sequence from the least fine to the finest to guarantee maximum filtration efficiency and cartridge longevity. Active carbon filters units (0,003 µm) require upstream a 5 µm filter or filter regulator unit, followed by a 0,01 µm oil mist separator unit. Filtering elements are simple to substitute without needing tools. Demounting cup (both for the polycabonate and metal ones) just need to press the release button with your thumb and pull it completely down to release the button from the component body. Keeping button pushed, rotate the cup 45° clockwise, pull the cup down and remove it. When the filter element is replaced, put the cup back on the component body by pushing upward and rotating it 45° counterclockwise to lock (do not press the release button again). NOTE: On types without release button, the cup is connected to the body via a screw mechanism, so to remove it just rotate the cup clockwise until it is completely disengaged. When filter element is replaced, screw the cup back onto the body by rotating it counterclockwise until completely blocked. WARNING: Before any maintenance operation, ensure that air supply and any electrical power supply are cut off, to avoid injury and damage to the product during disassembly and reinstallation. High flow Orifices design of all Series B modular elements are optimized to maximize air flow and thus optimize the efficiency of the individual components and, consequently, of all the assembled unit. The high flow rate ensures high performance throughout the pneumatic system. Furthermore, the refined component structure prevents pressure drops along the entire line.
